Jainee is an Indian Cinematographer and Filmmaker. He was born and raised in New Delhi and has worked extensively in Delhi and Mumbai.

The last long-format big banner project he participated in was Heeramandi, Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali as an assistant under Sudeep Chatterjee, ISC.

He attended the first and second masterclasses by the Indian Society of Cinematographers,  conducted by Sudeep Chatterjee, ISC and Anay Goswami, ISC in Mumbai respectively.

At the 53rd IFFI Goa, he was selected as a Cinematographer under 75 Creative Minds of Tomorrow by NFDC India. The short film he shot during this journey was released on Prime Video.

Like Hindu mythological figures Yashodha and Devaki, he gained his formal film education under two mothers. In contrast, Yashodha's role was played by the Faculty of Film and Television, DLCSUPVA, Rohtak where he studied Fine Arts in Cinematography and learned Physics and Aesthetics of Cinema, and Devaki's role is played by the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune.

He also holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Journalism and Mass Communication from MBICEM, GGSIPU, Delhi, and Sikkim Manipal University.

 
While studying at film school and working in Mumbai, he was mentored by several renowned Cinematographers, including Sudeep Chatterjee, Muraleedharan C K, Sushil Rajpal, Siddharth Diwan, and Anay Goswami.

He started his career as an independent Documentary filmmaker but later ventured into all other formats.

He also attended the Film Appreciation short course at the Entertainment Society of Goa, conducted by Samar Nakhate and Anil Zankar in collaboration with the National Film Archive of India.
